Re: steez replacement spools

I'd pick up a deep SV1000 spool for the 100H and an SV105 for the 103H. I have an SV105 in a 103H and I love it for lighter stuff, I have 20# braid on it (with whatever leader I'm using that day) and that gives me tons of capacity. I'm in the process of trying to source a deeper SV spool right now ...

Re: My Collection of Reels

My newest addition. Picked up another one in 6.3 before they're gone forever. Thanks to Gary @ The Tackle Trap for hooking me up and the quick shipping! http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e24/Tony9982/Mobile%20Uploads/PSX_20170307_201957_zpsg2dm99up.jpg Those are so nice. Thanks... but that's not all of it... ;)

That has to be one of the most impressive collection of reels that I have ever seen. So many gems in every group.

That is a good point and I have to agree. As a newer member I may gravitate towards certain areas of the forums. This new change may bring other areas of the forums into focus potentially revealing information or areas of interest previously unknown.

Re: Fluke rod

I love using Crank baits, Jerk baits, Jigs, Worms, top water plugs and hollow body Frogs as the staples of my tackle bag but I have thrown weightless Zoom Super Flukes successfully more than any other bait. I have had great success throwing them on a St. Croix LTB 6'8" MF Jerkbait rod with a St...

Wow that is so awesome. Nice to see he won in my home state of FL too. One of the few pros along with Bill Dance that I remember from my childhood. Hope I can still slay them when I am 70 and way beyond!

Dude, that's a DOPE combo! I love the MB Oracle Dragon logo. Almost looks unfishable (its too nice) Lol. You're gonna look good out on the water with that. And let the first fish be a 12lb plus on your combo :P BTW: Thanks for the compliment on my mad rod packing skillz. There's nothing sadder than...

That looks so awesome. Very classy color/finish combinations. It is expensive to have a reel painted well but when you have a keeper it is worth it. That is going to be a joy to use and I bet the insides look even better! :big grin:

Maybe Steez, Aldebaran, Metanium or Core? Seems you're missing magnesium framed reels. :)

Seems one of each would be nice. :) I would love to take a Metanium tricked out with some ZPI components.

Your photos are very artistic and show case some fabulous gear. I was wondering which color scheme vision 110 that was with the crackled green on the front located 2nd up from the bottom left in the group shot? Those are some creative finishes on the MB Gongs. It's a Snakehead 110, released only in...

Re: A good day of bass fishing, what does it take?

Any day fishing is a great day. I work indoors most of the time so I am thankful for the time and opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. Fishing is a great way to relax the mind, get out and often for me enjoy some great company. I enjoy learning new techniques and staying versatile to keep things inter...

I like throwing top water pencil or popper style baits early in the morning.
