Just thought I asked
If the SV 103 is discontinued why are you charging 299.99 for it ?

Clearly you didn't notice the clearly written "sold out" listed on each model. Last time I checked though, folks are still allowed to charge what they like for items they have for sale.

Re: One reel to rule them all

TD-Z in one of it's glorious variations, an I'ze Factory Personal Order to be exact, left handed with the brass 7:1 conversion kit installed, carbontex drag washers installed, and a set of ZPI spool bearings installed, any variety of Daiwa swept 90mm handles , a Zillion Type R star , and an about t...

Re: Rod for topwater poppers/jerkbaits?

A Hammer Rods 6'9" Medium is a great top water and jerk bait rod in the well under $200 price range. It's light and loads baits nicely, has a slower than fast taper and is a solid performer.

Re: First look at Megabass Destroyer USA rods

Daemos review anyone? Compared to the XX Diablo Spec-r? There have been a few comments on this subject above. The Daemos is lighter, more sensitive, more crisp, and has a little faster taper. It's still very versatile and capable of effectively presenting a wide range of applications. I've thrown t...

Re: Painting Reels

The Tackle Trap has an arrangement with a phenomenal US based painter here in the US, he haunts this forum from time to time too. I've seen a lot of custom paint work on reels, some good, some bad, and this is top of the line work. Tackle Trap reel tech Bryan Lambert, pikeroadbassn here on TT will b...

Re: First look at Megabass Destroyer USA rods

Gary that's something I was really curious about and am happy to hear. I'd think that would make the Daemos even more suitable for jigs/trigs under 1/2 oz. Knowing the FMJ is certainly very powerful can you compare the Daemos's taper to the FMJ? Hey Kevin - absolutely. I've fished 3/8 oz skirted ji...

no budget ? You are tough! Let's make it under $300, so we can see what affordable reels folks choose. Any other restrictions? Current production only? Hahaha You are so tough! Re: First look at Megabass Destroyer USA rods

I must be getting old. These pics get me more excited than the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition..  Debating on trading my XX Diablo spec r for the Daemos. Do these rods perform similarly or is it too early to tell? The destroyers are in another league sensitivity wise? The daemos feel...
