I bought a spool of this stuff, really great price.
Any one have first hand experience with this stuff? The reviews on Amazon are pretty impressive.

Re: Ned Rig on Casting Gear

Hands down for me, considering your price range, either an Airy Red Pixilla with stock spool, or any Pixy variant with a DIY spool. There are some great deals on Pixy's all over the internet right now. To increase line capacity, I use sinking 14b braid http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/YGK_G-Soul_SS112...

Re: First look at Megabass Destroyer USA rods

Well there is the post I was looking for.............a comparison to the Nautilus. I'd love a second Nautilus but they are tough to come by these days. Gary is the Javelin a spot on match or a less powerful version? If its not a match I think the Valdiva may fill the heavier powered gap between my ...

Re: First look at Megabass Destroyer USA rods

Just got my Daemos today. Initial impressions, build quality is excellent. Blank is light, responsive, and also powerful. Only negative is that the rod is slightly tip heavy, but not to bad at all. I can't wait to fish it, you can tell it means business, even though it is so pretty. I can see it bei...

Re: Enough with the tackle. LETS SEE SOME FISH!

Fished down some deep grass lines this past weekend, and the water was super clear, perfect for some sight fishing. Didn't expect to see these out there, but when they came swimming down the grass line in 6-8' I couldn't say no! Placed my Xrap 08 perfectly, and the lead fish instantly instantly inh...

Re: First look at Megabass Destroyer USA rods

Maybe it's already been stated, but how long is the rear handle on the Valdivia? It's 10 13/16" from the butt to the gold trim ring behind the trigger between the reel seat and the cork. 10 3/8" is the same measurement on the NRX 894c JWR as a reference. I find the handle length on the Va...

Re: First look at Megabass Destroyer USA rods

Just came home to the Valdivia. It seems like it's going to be a great rod. Sold an NRX 894 to get it. My first impression is I won't regret it. Aesthetically it no contest, Valdivia wins by a landslide. Balance is another point for the Valdivia and overall just feels better in hand. Tough to say w...

Re: First look at Megabass Destroyer USA rods

A couple of quick balance point photos. The balance of the Onager is very impressive for a big bait rod. It feels surprisingly light in hand! Re: Daiwa SV103 versus Shimano Chronarch MGL

I have been using the Zillion platform for years. It is a reliable tank. With a super tune it really shines. Back when TT had a super speed shootout between the red Zillion 50th, and the Chronarch. The 50th won out because it scored higher. Daiwa came out with the T3, and it didn't do to well. If a...
