This is from last sunday. Shimano Conquest 250DC with 0.36 Matrix Pro braid and lure i was using was 30cm Savage Gear Reel Eel (Firetiger). Was a nice fight!

Got out in the remnants of the Typhoon last Saturday and stuck this pig on a dropshot. Big girl was following a school of Perch that pecked my roboworm just seconds before the hit.

I have the opposite situation :D: first NON jerkbait fish of the season on spoon lure with offset hook and soft fish for best waterweed overcoming.

Let's see if tinypic will screw this one up, too. This is a nice fish I caught last Saturday morning. A solid 3# fish and it was fun on My Alphas SV atop a Jackall Nero 6-8 Light BFS rod. This was a quick trip to a private pond. Gotta love those little mudholes!

Here's a better fish I caught at another one of my little private lakes. Just for perspective, that rod's rear grip is 10.5" from the butt to where the eva meets the reel seat. She was just over 8#. The second pic is a 5.5" KVD Sexy Dawg topwater down in that abyss of a mouth!
