We are supposed to have a couple enroute for our 2017 review season. I'll get a preview up on the models they send when we get them. 8-)

Evergreen makes a great product. I've had 3 models for more than 10 years.

The camo grips remind me of Daiwa AU's Commander series and sure beats the old grey and black "wood grain" grips of the 90's. Reel seat, not a big fan of but I think a little modding could remedy the issues I have with them.

it's interesting to me that most folks that visit this site hate the acs seat. i've only had 1 rod (vedetta) years ago that had that seat, and i wasn't fond of it either. maybe someone should start a poll, and send a link to some of these company's customer service??

i think if some of the hard edges were smoothed off, it probably wouldn't be as uncomfortable to me.

Looking forward to some reviews.I wonder if they over-rate the powers on these.Wold't be the first JDM rod co. to do that. The 7'3" hvy mf has my interest :D

+2,3,4 and five for me on the reel seat and camo handle opinions.

I'm wondering about the ratings being high as well, the chatter bait rod is interesting but a heavy seems a little too heavy? Also, I question the medium rod being rated up to 2oz...

That said, the camo grips are growing on me

I ordered the 7'1" Medium and the 7'11" Heavy as soon as i saw the ad. Another non fan of the camo, have been googling "how to dye eva". The great thing about Tackle Warehouse, they said "If you don't like it, send it back".
The plan is to use the 7'11" with a TranX 400 for beach fishing, I know that's nowhere near flipping but what the heck. With a 12 oz. reel at least it won't feel tip heavy.
Even if I was homeless, I would still have more money than brains.
