Lews bfs spool

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Lews bfs spool

Never seen it mentioned, but have seen some people say Abu spools will work. Is there any made specifically for Lews? Team lite and pro magnesium

Yeah but they are hard to source. Lews reels are Doyo platforms and Doyo does make shallow spools korean variants of the same reels as lews. There is a section on the site that shows the spools. The problem is that being an oem they're going to be difficult to contact to order a part even if you can determine which spool will fit your your Lews reel.

doyo's site: http://www.doyofishing.co.kr/main/index
spools: http://m.doyofishing.co.kr/goods/catalog?code=0002

Another option may be to determine if the spools from an Abu revo fit your Lews because there are a number of BFS spools for Abu Revos and Max reels.

I take that back. The Doyo platform the new Lews are on (All Terrain) does not have a shallow spool option yet. The last gen platform does as does the old PQ too.

Lewis team light spool is very light stock. Just fill it 30% with light line and with the right rod it should work decently
