I used to use a lot of Northstar and Strike King jigs. Now I use a local jig guy - Super K Jigs. He is local, but ships his jigs across the country, including to several of the pro anglers. He hand-ties all of his jigs and he will make any color you can think of. It is also nice to have a local expert who can give you some suggestions on what to throw on a certain body of water, etc. I think that wealth of information makes it a no-brainer. I usually have an idea of what I want, but to be able to sit down with the guy and talk specifics before he makes my jigs is awesome.
