Re: GeeCrack
Heck, I mix other soft plastics inside my Geecrack bags. The more stank the better.

Re: Best Topwater Lure of the Year, 2023
Did best with the Shimano World Pop this year. It's a fantastic popper. Casts like a bullet, spits a lot of water, chugs and pops, consistent, flash boost. I think I might even like it better than my OSP Louder. I just watched a few YouTube videos of the Shimano World Pop. It looks and moves pretty...

Re: A list of great spool swaps
Adding the 1010 in a TD-Z to the list. I heard about this one from Hogsticker2. I've had my FX68 1010 spool in a few reels and it was a long bomber in a gen 1 Steez LTD but I had to run the mag dial super high to keep it in control and I always struggled to make short casts with poppers around the ...

Re: Fluoro on Gekkabijin
Those of you who are using the Ray's deep spool in your Gekka, are you using the SV or fixed inductor style? Has anyone used both? I'm thinking about getting one to toss light cranks top water, and jerkbaits (3/16 oz ish) on my Evergreen Orion Lightning Strike. I like the consistency of a fixed rot...

Re: All new steez sv tw
Like the 32mm spool, leaves other spool options. Steez SV TW frame, Steez CT side plates kinda shape
. Hope the cost isn't good to be outrageous, but I'm definitely interested.

Re: All new steez sv tw
I'll buy it for the line guide alone. Bout time. Curious to find out what ultimate brake and ultimate spool might be.

Re: Aldebaran 23 BFS Frame Material
How much 6/7lb fluoro can you stick on this spool? Does it cast with more ease and distance than the Daiwa offerings?... Gekka, 23 finesse SV TW
I've seen and read many times that this is the BFS king, but... I'm a Daiwa guy.

Re: Finesse/BFS reel for distance casting?
FWIW, I ordered another Roro spool for my old Steez. After using the 1st spool for a few weeks, I liked it. I mostly use 3/8oz to 3/4oz baits, so I really don't need BFS spools, but I have 6 or 7 Steez reels that are 12 to 15 years old. It's about time to get some new spools. :D The lightest bait I...

Re: Finesse/BFS reel for distance casting?
Gekkabijin!! For 2-5 gram baits it is is going to be very difficult to find something that casts farther. I use light braid(8#) >FG> to a 25’ Tatsu 6# leader with excellent success. Wrecked the smallmouth on the river today including a 3.3# on a Zman Tubez+1/24 oz jighead. What a fight! Casting is ...
