Re: It’s 2023 so can we all now agree
if I can find some O-rings that last longer than a few months I'd take Daiwa's version. You can put the point of the hook in the loop or the bend of the hook in the bottom part. Also can just hook a DS weight easily without putting the actual hook on the keeper. I think part of the problem is stori...

Re: PX68R uses
Love the reel but to me it really doesn't have a finesse spool. I use my PXR for 1/2oz jerkbait and it bombs them. Or you can run some thin 40lb YGK line on it and the reel can do many things great in 1/4 - 5/8oz. The spool is fast and one of the best for distance. The reel may not be for everyone b...

Re: NRX 902s vs Steez AGS MML for ned rigs
Thank you for all the suggestions I've decided to go with the 76MML. Lucky there's a shop here with both 76MML and 902s. I think 902s is better suited for hair jigs. Unfortunately they didn't have a 872s in stock to compare. I'll update with review once I get to fish it.

Re: 2021 steez ags rods
Thought I'd just ask here instead of making a new thread with my steez ags question. For those that know I'd like to hear your thoughts. Steez Utility Player - Want this rod for 1/4oz texas rig worm. Reading the comments it seems like this one is the ticket? How does this rod compared to a USA Daemo...

Re: NRX 902s vs Steez AGS MML for ned rigs
Thanks everyone for the reply. I wish I could buy and try them all. I'll head to a local tackle and flex test a 902s and 872s. I think by reading the reviews I'm leaning towards the 872s between them. I have fished a 852s and didn't really like it. Felt it was way too stiff. Felt like it didnt cast ...

NRX 902s vs Steez AGS MML for ned rigs
Might be a long shot but has anyone fished or handled both of these rods? What I am looking for is a deep water ned rig rod. I'm usually throwing zman 1/6oz head on a trd, maybe 1/4oz total weight. Fishing in 20-30ft of water. Between the two I'm curious which one can cast better at this weight, fas...

Re: MegaBass worm rod
X7 Bearing Down Type X is a weird one. You'll either hate it or for the few, love it.

Re: megabass x7 cyclone advantage
Yeah all my X7s are like this. Just too lazy to take all the paint off. Will probably do that before spring hits.

Re: megabass x7 cyclone advantage
About time we give this rod it's dues. One of my favorites of all time that I got a 2nd one. One is my 1/2 jerkbait rod. Sold two versions of Oneten rods because I like this X7CA more for that. I also use one to skip weightless senkos. Loads well and has enough backbone to pull them out. If MB made ...

Fun building Pixies but too expensive. Easily hit $400+ on upgraded parts alone. I'll probably never do one again. You still can add....

Re: Destroyer P5 One Ten Special
I had one for a short time but luckily I was on some really good fish the 5 outings with it. So I really got to test the rod with thse crazy fall smallies. What else can I say other than it does the job. I think it is more of a true JB rod versus the USA Destroyer which was 6'11 and the taper was a ...
