Hi all
Could anyone tell me what size bearing is used for the worm gear bearing on most of the Daiwa casting reels, the one available in this kit- https://tackletrap.com/index.php?main_p ... ts_id=3114
Thanks, Tim

GH100 Assembly Issue
Hi all My friend recently acquired a Fishband GH100 as his first finesse casting reel. He got line caught between the reel and frame, however he did not know to take the spool out and instead took the side plate off. Being a novice, I presume he dropped parts from the reel accidentally. I came to fi...

Daiwa Reel Issues
Hi all Having some troubles with changing the handles/drag stars on my Daiwas. I have noticed that on my Alphas which has an SLP drag star but stock swept handle, and TD Ito which has the stock star but aftermarket straight handle, the more the drag is tightened the looser the handle becomes, so it ...

SLP Works Zaion Screwless
Hi Guys
Can anyone tell me if the SLP works Zaion Screwless drag stars fit the TD-Z range? Looking to fit a red one to my TD-Ito but can't find online if it will fit.
Thanks, Tim

Re: Lets see all them Daiwa's
Here's my little casting crew, will post spinning another time. Cleared out a couple of others lately, and still have a few upgrades planned to these. Considering a new one too- still never owned a steez casting reel- maybe one of them? Wouldn't mind a PX-R or a few more Alphas' too. Left to right-...

Alphas Appreciation Thread
Not sure if this has been done yet but let's appreciate all those Alphas' out there. Zondas, Sols, Laudas- anything alphas.
Such an under-rated platform I think, can be used for nearly anything.
Post yours, love to see!

Yeah, comes with an SV spool with no shaft (free floating) and takes the ito spool fine so Zillion based.

Re: TD-Z Owners Guild
My first TD-Z, acquired a few months ago and now 95% happy with it. Would love a different colour line guide but sadly all the IP guides are all sold out at Tackle Trap. Looks great. More of the IP line guides are on order and will be updated as soon as they arrive. Great thread from a big TD-Z fan...

Zillion SV with a twist.
Hi all Thought some might be interested to see an Australian reel, the Daiwa TD Sol III SV casting reel. Recently discontinued, I picked this one up for the price of a Tatula from the tackle store I work at. Essentially a Zillion SV with new paint and a new handle, this one is stock except for the T...

TD-Z drag issue
Hi all Having a bit of issues with my Daiwa TD-Z Ito and its drag. I'm new to reel upgrades and just upgraded the drag to Carbontex on the TD-Z. I re-assembled the reel, and now I have a problem where when the drag is tightened, the reel becomes stiff to wind. This stiffness increases as the drag is...
