Probably bent the spool

I did a little personal experience write up in the fb bfs group but for my preference I went with the Avail29.

No fumbling with magnets, no changing spool shafts and it's pretty stout. The stock spool is plenty capable though and the only reason for my change was to gain a bit of line capacity

I've always wondered this too

We've been hitting low hundreds here and I wait till the sun drops but have to time it cause the mosquitoes come out shortly after

I use a lot of ajing stuff, pretty tiny

A good flushing with light oil would probably make the difference as new bearings. With that said I've changed some of mine to the Hedgehog AirHD How much more over the stock bearings have you found them to be inside the platform that you are using? You mean flushed stock vs out the box stock? For ...

Anything can if you set your heart to it

If it didn't whine then how would you let everyone know you're rocking the DC?

Hate that I keep trying to find these old rods so late... Love the setup

Most those have pretty robust gears and good support bearings so unless you like jamming the gears to stop a cast then pretty much anything reasonable.
