The blade is already vibrating before I turn the handle. :-D With the advent of forward facing sonar, the Lil George is bound to make a comeback, right? Dude,...

Re: Favorite Discontinued Hardbaits?
I remembered another one, Heddon Spit n Image Jr. They discontinued Jr size, and it was a better bait than the slightly bigger one that they still sell. I don't remember if the one I have is a Jr. or not. It's 2 1/2 inches and 1/4 oz. The Jr is about 3", and a little over 1/4oz, I think. The bigger...

Re: Salt free trailers
look into getting some custom baits made, there is a ton of bait makers in some groups on facebook that would be willing to help! personally i never put salt in my baits, its used by the big bait brands as a filler, its cheaper than plastisol and also weakens the baits, making them less expensive t...

I know it's sacrilege to some, but a Conquest DC would look amazing on one of those sticks.

I've been using an older Calcutta 51 on my MH and H ice fishing rods with great results.slipperybob wrote: ↑Mon Aug 21, 2023 4:30 amwaiting for someone to create an actual dedicated ice fishing casting reel...but not like the 13 tear drop dead weight.![]()

Re: Finesse plastic/jerkbait rod
In my hands it's mod-fast with a good backbone. If I could only grab two sticks it would be the X4 BE and the X4 Destruction....if that helps.
I wish I had experience with the Spec R.

Re: Scorpion DC vs SLX DC
Following this one.
The '21 Scorpion DC is near the top of my list for a spare Z-Bone I have.
I have the '17 model on a first generation Steez Compile-X heavy, and I really like it for long casts presenting larger t-rigs.
