Re: Waft rods?
Great rods for a reasonable price, very happy with my Outlaw
Their iron feather range is also a steal for the price
Fished a number of those models

Re: TD-Z 103h spool in T3
If you change the handle side bearing to one with a reduced width ,problem is solved
Spool is now centered and inductor cup sits in correct position inside mag race.
Red spool is stock bearing, notice how spool is offset towards palming plate
This is the case with tdz and steez spools

Re: TD-Z 103h spool in T3
The tdz spools don't simply drop into the T3's without any issues. You can mess around with removing shims on the palming side plate, however the end result is not great in my view. The spool is not centered correctly, this does have an influence with the braking dynamics This applies to the tdz and ...

Re: Good allround spool for T3 MX?
Check the bar located just under the hood
A small dab of grease on either side(on the c-clip)will sort out your problem noise under load
Under tension and without lube the bar spins and creates the mystery squeak
Give it a go and report back, essentially an easy fix

Finesse plastics I would go with the mag option for versatility
The spr is akin to a sports car with the electronic aids disabled, if you are into that wild kind of connected experience, enjoy..

Re: Pixy/Pixzilla still relevant...
The spr is a strange reel It will bomb a 1/2 oz lipless a long way(equivalent to the run of the mill pixy) Where it shines is with a 1/4 oz hardbait, mysteriously it flies as far as the 1/2 oz bait The joys of the centrifugal breaking profile This is a niche reel that can do everything a regular pix...

The SPR is loads of fun to fish
It can launch a bait a mile, not only a small plug reel at all

Re: Daiwa Ryoga SV shl
I'm sure you will enjoy it
Comes with beefed up gear set and a slight subsequent weight increase( gear box housing is wider than original ryoga)
I've fished the centrifugal version, great reel I'm sure the mag brake and sv spool will add to the experience
New ryoga is however rather tempting
