I need a Megabass guide for dummies
Re: I need a Megabass guide for dummies
Yes Bronzefly is the authority on this topic. He's not only a dealer, he's fished will ALL of them. I wanted to buy ONE, just to say i had one, ended up with 6. Once i described what i was looking for he put me in exactly what i wanted. I had alot of experience with GLoomis and he did a great job in relating to what i understood in rods i had fished with and what i wanted in my MB rods. I have 4 NRX and many GLX rods as well. To me, NRX rods are the most sensitive rods I have fished with. They are just 'different'. Hard to explain until you pick one up. However, IMO, they are very application specific. The cool thing about the MB rods i have is the multitude of techniques that i find myself fishing with them. The Super Bandersnatch and Nautulis are very sensitive but the tapers on these rods are very versatile. At 7'6" the Bandersnatch makes the perfect TRAP rod, IMO. I also throw T-Rigs and small jigs on them in clear water and find they are plenty sensitive. They are just fun to fish with! I'm a research junkie, and ask a million questions, ask Bronzefly
I don't worry about it anymore. I still love my GLoomis rods but couldn't be happier with my MB purchases.

The best guide has always been on these forums. Most of my google searches have yielded results from past forum topics. Especially helpful for the JDM products.
