How is that spool in the reel? I have the 34mm wide version on my old Type R Tatula. Mine is like a faster SV spool. A bit more free casting but comes at the cost of making skipping a little more difficult with some baits. Mine throws 3/8 oz "weightless" plastics. Probably one of my most used reels.hoohoorjoo wrote: ↑Wed Sep 07, 2022 3:25 pmYes, mine is the SV style.adam lancia wrote: ↑Tue Sep 06, 2022 2:04 amIs that the Ray's spool that you can get with either a fixed/adjustable inductor or an SV-style inductor?hoohoorjoo wrote: ↑Mon Sep 05, 2022 10:35 amMy Gekkabijin with a few changes. I added a Steez CT cc cap, SV103 drag star and a 90mm handle with new style, larger knobs. It also has a Ray's deep spool that only weighs. 2 grams more than the stock spool. It's one of two dedicated power finesse reels now. It is spooled with 20# braid and sits on my Abu Fantasista Regista 610MLXF rod.

It is quickly becoming my favorite reel.LowRange wrote: ↑Thu Sep 08, 2022 10:06 amHow is that spool in the reel? I have the 34mm wide version on my old Type R Tatula. Mine is like a faster SV spool. Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.
Re: Lets see all them Daiwa's
I don’t think I show my two work horse reel for the past year yet.

Re: Lets see all them Daiwa's
That's cool. I don't have any nice reels anymore. Got tired of babying them and/or scratching them during tourneys. I live in the Tatula/Zillion/Fuego CT world.
I'm just really impressed!
Re: Lets see all them Daiwa's
Neat. I haven't seen a gen 1 HRF on here yet.

Above is Tatula Type R with replaced spool (Hyper Long Cast), handle, cast control cap, metal drag star and golden T-Wing.
