Ok boys - slammed a pre-spawn slaunch today. It might be a double digit. I didn't have a scale. Even if it is not, it is a PB.
MB XX 711 Launcher, OG Zillion CC with a J-Dream spool, Defier Armilo, LC BDS3.
I might be excited in the video.
Thoughts??

That is a fantastic fish! I’m in your neck of the woods and can attest to that being a BEAST, the frame on that fish is unreal for up here. Well done

As I look at the pics, I think she is probably around 8lbs or so. Anyone else want to venture a guess? Someone from Cali or FL who is used to fish this size? LOL!

The next time that you don't have a scale you should try to get as accurate of a length measurement as possible by putting your combo on the grass and measuring the fish on your rod. You can then use the largemouth length/weight chart when you get home to estimate your weight. You don't really need to use fishing line to measure the girth because we all fish enough to estimate how fat a largemouth is for its length. Take the weight that is on the heavy side of the fishes length on the chart if it is a really fat fish like that. The weights are surprisingly accurate if you get an accurate length measurement.
I served as a tournament weigh master in my club when I was teenager. This also really helped me get a general idea of how much largemouth weigh. The biggest tournament bass of all time was 18.55 pounds at Castaic Lake. The guy caught it close to me while fishing a pro team tournament. Two fish over 13 pounds came in that day. I haven't weighed enough of those to even have a clue how much the teener's weigh!

Oh, and pictures lie Toku. It is too hard to tell from pictures! I would guess between 8 and 10.
