Triple threats in White Pythons....
Started with 2018 HDTS, jumped back in the DeLorean for the OG, skipped the 2014 era then back to the future for the 2017 Legend Works Limited 30th. Obviously big thanks to the folks house over at Triple T for working with me for starting my journey for these highly regarded rods. Was super stoked on the 2018 and of course that got me thinking more so that's where I stand now I feel the 2014 era was a strange era although I did have a couple rods in that timeframe but since long gone

Anyway the hopes is I get all akimbo with the latest Evo WPs as I want to get matching reels I believe. I'm moving or I should say transitioning back over to Daiwa platforms and I heard a lot of good things about this STEEZ A but I'm very interested in the Zillion TWS HD. Side note if anyone has any information on those two particular platforms please shed some light if you wish the highest I'll throw would be an occasional 2 oz swimbait these are going to be my as I said one rod to rule them all like Cal, Zander and the rest of the gang search for for us

. I am going to lace it up with 40lb braid in some fashion more than likely Power Pro but I also may try Daiwa J braid as I heard a lot of great things on that particular product as well. Mainstay will be hollow body frogs with, T-rigging for bottom or lighter punching or "bush penetration", and weightless plastics for the mucky-muck if it ever comes back in these valley reservoirs then the occasional in my opinion smaller swimbaits max weight as stated earlier 2 ounces mainly throwing 5" bull gills and deps SSSS 145s but 2.25oz feels really nice in the latest WPs so you know I will sling the 6" bullshads, and bullrats as well but not as prominently on the latest WPs. I have hopes for taking 68 specials in doing the by now old-school technique of the Butch Brown rig so without the heavy gauge hook I think these rods would be very very sweet for that particular technique. I took a few shots(not great

) to show some subtle differences between the two latest white pythons particularly between the first and second double footed stripper guides. the 2018 version the decorative golden bronze portion(highlights the titanium fibers running parallel up the shaft) of the blank goes up between the two where as the 30th Anniversary stops and doesn't go past the first stripper guide. Anyway that's my ramblings for the day hope everyone's staying safe out there
