I am really interested in how this rod performs for you and what reel/line you will pair it with. I am also thinking it would be a strong option for walking big topwaters.
Looking forward to some on the water reviews from you.

If it's really a MH rod, it would be better for 30-50 pound braid and smaller frogs. I wouldn't go matt fishing with a true MH rod. I am currently using that same reel on my heavy frog rod right now.

Yeah, I might eventually put some braid on it.

I know the rod is still new to you, but do you think it will handle 1oz class topwaters? Say Ima Little Stick, Showerblows 125, etc.

I have bought some 1 oz SPRO Dean Rojas Bronzeye King Daddy Frogs to try on this rod and I have a Deps GP Constrictor HGC-64XS/GP that I throw 1oz Showerblows etc on. I will take both rods our on my boat and test them side by side with the 1oz frogs and I will try a shower blows on the Legit Design Frog Game Special.

Just took the frog game special to a local city lake to test it out. Was able to cast and walk a 1 oz frog and shower blows 125 with no problem.

What line were you using for this outing?

The same, Trilene XL smooth casting 17 Lb., I will change it for braid for frog fishing by next spring. I wasn't expecting to catch anything, just testing out the rod at a small lake at a local city park.

If you don't like micro guides, this is not the rod for you.

I have a Legit Design Wild Side 6'10" MedFast. Love that rod, my favorite multi-purpose river rod for 5/16-5/8 moving techs of all sorts. I use mostly co-poly/mono/fluoro. I was using this rod with a 2019 Morethan SH with 15lb Defier/ZPI PG spool, flinging 3/8 Spro Aruku lipless this past weekend and having fun with skipjacks up to ~ 18". If I were to use the 6'9" Frog rod, it would be straight braid.
