Modded quite a few on this platform. Here's another R+ painted by Trey.

Absolutely astonishing
And the drag star is the same color. What a work of art.

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible

I think I'm in love... If it fishes half as well as it looks, I'll be happy. Going to use this one for bigger moving baits; spinnerbaits, bladed jigs, manns 1-minus. Will be the first thing I pick up this spring.
Got a new 5.0:1 set I could drop in if the 5.7 doesn't do it for me. A couple key upgrades; painted nose piece, tdx gun metal line guide, 100mm handle, driveshaft modified for a steez style bolt and ported (shed a whopping 4.5grams, lol) and a 100m spool with HH ZR bearings. Really eyeing those new rebellion rods. I think they would match pretty well.

I haven't seen one of the BBS's in a while. I really wanted one, but a lot of slightly bigger low profile swimbait reels hit the market at the time that filled my niche. That looks good. My Lexa 300H's that filled the niche haven't been getting much use lately because I haven't been fishing the larger swimbaits as much. I wish that I had picked up a BBS. I have the 5.7 TDZ gears in a Fuego that are really nice for deep cranking. I really like my SV105 that I did the orange parts on. Everybody should have at least one black reel with orange or bronze parts!MountainMan 83 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 21, 2020 6:00 pmI think I'm in love... If it fishes half as well as it looks, I'll be happy. Nice! A+ for originality. I had a silver MHX Elite-X blank custom build done recently that might be a good match for that. I don't really care for any of my black reels on a silver blank. My rod has a TD Zillion with all gunmetal parts on it now. The silver/grey on silver/grey looks solid.

Those key upgrades are always what make the reel. Nice work!MountainMan 83 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 21, 2020 6:00 pmI think I'm in love... If it fishes half as well as it looks, I'll be happy. My first TD-Z, acquired a few months ago and now 95% happy with it. Would love a different colour line guide but sadly all the IP guides are all sold out at Tackle Trap.
